The team were tasked to reports of a distressed woman entering the water in the vicinity of Roker and Seaburn. Due to the inexact location a number of search and rescue units were tasked to locate the casualty.
The team were stood down shortly after leaving the station as the person had been found by Police.
Units on Scene: Sunderland VLB, Sunderland Lifeboats (B Class and ILB), Northumbria Police, Sunderland Coastguard
